Shipping Policy
We ship by UPS and US Postal Service (USPS) in the Continental US. Typically lighter items are shipped by USPS Priority Mail (2 business days in continental US) and heavier items are shipped by UPS Ground (1-6 business days in continental US, depending on distance from California).
International shipments are made by DHL Air and USPS Priority Mail (for light items). Customs duty and local handling charges is buyer's responsibility.
We can ship by Fedex upon request. Typically we ship by Fedex when the buyer supplies us their Fedex account number.
Our standard procedure for International shipments is to include 2 copies of the shipping label and 5 signed copies of the invoice, in the shipment pouch. We have found that this meets the customs requirements for International shipments 95% of the time.
We are experienced in shipping heavy networking equipment. All our shipments are made in new, reinforced cardboard boxes, with adequate packing material to seat the product firmly during shipment.
Most orders ship same day, depending on time and quantity. Shipments go out by 5 pm Pacific time. Usually shipment delays are because of payment holds suggested by Paypal. We keep the buyer in the loop, whenever there is a payment hold.
Since the networking equipment is usually heavy, we usually do not consolidate orders. We can consolidate orders for lighter equipment or International orders, upon request.
We delete 110V power cords, for International shipments to 220V countries. This reduces waste and also marginally reduces shipment costs.
NOTE: UPS Ground does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, etc) and APO. From UPS shipment perspective, they are treated as International shipments. However, USPS treats shipment to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and APO as domestic with respect to shipping rates. The shipment lead-times are similar to international i.e. one week.
Return Policy
Returns are permitted if an item is Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) or is significantly different from what was sold. Returns must be initiated by the buyer within 30 days from delivery date. In order to return an item you must contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization. You will be responsible for all shipping charges for returns, unless you have got prior approval from us. Your return will be processed within 5-7 business days after receipt of the item. The usual recourse for return of used products is exchange for a similar product or refund of the buyer’s money.
For new sealed Cisco products sold by us (a SELECT Cisco reseller), returns are subject to the normal manufacturer’s warranty. Three months warranty is standard across the entire Cisco product line; some products have one year warranty and some have limited lifetime warranty (excludes fans and power supply). Your first recourse is to contact Cisco per their standard warranty support process. As an approved Cisco reseller, we will support you if you are not getting the support assistance expected. This is highly unlikely since Cisco has the highest customer satisfaction in the networking industry.

We recognize that customers have a wide selection of products and sellers on eBay. We try to anticipate our customer’s questions in our product listings. We also provide a hyperlink to the manufacturer’s page, so that the buyer can get detail product information. When customers have a question, we answer it promptly, with less that one day turnaround.
Most of our products ship the same day as the order (assuming there are no payment holds).
All our shipments include a packing slip and a business card, should you need to contact us after the sale.
We fill out our seller feedback within 7 days of shipment, so that it roughly coincides with the arrival of the product. This way, it is also a reminder to the buyer to fill out their feedback. We greatly appreciate getting buyer feedback.
Even though the buyer gets an automatic shipment update from Paypal, we often get requests from buyers for shipment tracking information. We recognize that sometimes the payee is different from the buyer and so the Paypal emails go a different person. We answer all these shipment tracking requests promptly.
Occasionally, we get requests from buyers (particularly international buyers) to integrate additional components before shipment – like rack mounts, additional memory or additional flash memory. We are happy to accommodate these requests where possible.

Testing Procedures
Cisco Products
The boot sequence is observed prior to purchase, to verify that the unit is working normally. Sometimes, additional optional modules (like PVDM voice cards and WIC/VWIC WAN cards) are disassembled from the parent router. The switch/router is then reset to factory defaults using the CONFREG 0x2142 command which is applicable to most Cisco Routers and some Cisco Switches. Some older routers have a MODE button to reset to factory defaults. Then a SHOW VER is done and included with the listing. A SHOW DIAG is provided for all modules.
SonicWall Products
The boot sequence is observed prior to purchase, to verify that the unit is working normally. As part of the sale, we make our seller transfer their product registration to us. The firewall is then reset to factory defaults using the reset pinhole. Then we configure the firewall and register it on our Mysonicwall site. We check the firmware – if the SonicOS is old, we update the firmware. We include a screenshot of the STATUS and LICENSE pages with the listing.
Juniper/Netscreen products
The boot sequence is observed prior to purchase, to verify that the unit is working normally. For some Netscreen products (like the SA1000 & SA2000), we get the license documentation as part of the sale since the products are essentially worthless without the license. Most products can be pin reset but some need to be soft reset, to restore factory defaults. We include a screenshot of the GET LICENSE and GET SYSTEM screen with the listing.
