HOW TO MEASURE YOUR CHILD'S SIZE

Measuring your child’s size is simple.

We strongly recommend checking your girls' body measurements before you bid. To ensure proper fit, we have provided the following measuring guideline and designer size charts for your reference. The measurements on the size chart are actual garment measurements. Therefore, you want to add 1 - 2 inches to the body's chest and waist measurements and select the size from those measurements. If you cannot get the suitable measurements in our shop, please tell us about your girls' measurements. We would find a suitable size for you.

Please note: The guideline is for reference only. Our shop cannot be responsible for the accuracy of any measurements. You will need to choose the size you feel most comfortable with, given your measurements and fit preference.

Order the right size flower girl dress the first time

People want to order the right size Flower girl dresses when ordering the product online.

If you don't measure correctly, you'll end up returning and exchanging the item.

Or, if you order multiple dresses trying to bracket your child's size, you end up with the hassle of returning some and incurring a re-stocking fee.

So, what measurements should you use to get it right?

We find that one of the best ways to measure properly is to measure a dress she owns that fits her well.

1) Lay the dress down on a flat surface, measure across the chest and waist, and double the measurements to get the exact size she'll need.

2) For the length, the best way is to hang the dress on a hanger, and measure from the outside shoulder straight down to the hem.

That is the way dress size charts are made. They give customers exact measurements, or as close as can be with variations of up to ½ inch of the measurements.

If you can actually measure your child, then try these steps:

When measuring, be sure that you do not have the tape too tight or too loose

ALWAYS double check the measurements before ordering

If you don't have a tape measure, use a piece of string to measure the child. Then, simply measure that string with a yardstick or ruler.

Always measure the child while he or she is standing up straight.

Things You'll Need:
•Tape measure
•Pen/pencil
•Paper
•Girl to be measured

Be sure to write down each measurement before taking the next measurement.

Step 1) Measure around her chest at the bust line.

Step 2) Measure around her natural waist - that is just above her hip bones.

Step 3) The final measurement is the Shoulder to Ankle. Measure from this point on her shoulder to her ankle.

Now compare the measurements to the dress you'd like to buy. When in doubt go with the chest size, which makes the dress most comfortable and the zipper close easily.
