Installation Help...

The surface must be clean and free of all waxes, sealers or oils. The decal and the surface of the vehicle must be a minimum of 50 degrees F. and no warmer than 85 degrees F.

If the area is not warm enough, preheat with a hairdryer or heat gun. We do not suggest installing decals in direct sunlight. All of our decals are made for installation on the outside of the vehicle unless additional information is included with your decal stating differently. Do not leave uninstalled decals near extreme heat or in direct sunlight.

STEP 1 - PREPARE THE SURFACE
Using regular glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol clean the surface of the vehicle where the decal is to be applied. Glass cleaner will not harm painted or glass surfaces. All waxes, oils, and polish MUST be removed from the vehicle surface to insure that the decal will stick properly.

STEP 2 - PLACE THE DECAL
Temporarily place the decal in the desired location with two small pieces of masking tape (one on each upper corner of the decal) holding the decal to the vehicle surface. Once the decal is aligned to the vehicle, stand back and look at the decal. Make sure it appears the way you want it. Adjust as necessary. Sometimes it is useful to use a tape measure to align the decal with a window or body section.

STEP 3 - SECURE THE DECAL
Apply a long piece of masking tape on the decal near the center of the decal running vertically with the tape going above and below the decal. This will make installation much easier. For long thin designs, you can cut the decal in pieces (up and down between spaces) once you have secured the decal. This will make smaller more manageable areas to work with. Just make sure that you run a piece of masking tape vertically in the center of each section.

STEP 4 - START REMOVING BACKING PAPER
Pull one end of the decal off and begin to peel the wax paper backing off the decal (exposing the sticky side of the decal). Pull all the way to the center point where the making tape was run vertically. Once you reach this spot tear the backing paper vertically along the tape leaving the opposite side. DO NOT ALLOW THE STICKY PART OF THE DECAL TO TOUCH THE VEHICLE SURFACE!

STEP 5 - BEGIN DECAL APPLICATION
With the wax paper backing peeled off one side, begin to apply the sticky side of the decal to the vehicle surface starting at the center point where the masking tape was placed vertically. Be sure to use even strokes horizontally across the decal starting in the center and working your way out.
The application squeegee should have a sharp even edge. The tool should be angled 45 degrees away from the center of the decal. This will keep bubbles from forming between the decal and the vehicle surface.

STEP 6 - CONTINUE INSTALLATION
Now repeat steps 4 and 5 with the opposite side of the decal. Continue smoothing out the decal with long horizontal strokes, in the center and working your way out.

STEP 7 - SQUEEGEE AND BEGIN TAPE REMOVAL
Once the entire sticky side of the decal is applied to the vehicle, go over the decal with the application squeegee, with increasingly harder strokes. Then begin peeling the transfer tape covering the decal. The transfer tape covering is made of paper with a sticky backing. This must be removed after the decal is installed. The vehicle surface must be proper temperature for this tape to be removed easily. Pull the tape back right over itself slowly. If any of the decal starts to lift from the surface lay it gently back down and do over the decal with a squeegee again.

STEP 8 - FINISH INSTALLATION
Finish removing the transfer tape covering, peeling from one side to the other. Any small bubbles can be removed using a small Needle. Take the needle and poke a small hole in the vinyl at the source of the bubble. Then with the squeegee or thumb depending on the sire of the bubble, push the remaining air out of the bubble.
